Make Time for God – Every Day

📖 Scripture:
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
— Mark 1:35 (NIV)

💡 Today’s Truth:
Your day hits different when it starts with prayer. Talking to God regularly isn’t a rule—it’s your lifeline.

📝 Devotion:
Let’s be real—when our time with God starts slipping, everything else follows. Skipping prayer isn’t just missing a spiritual “task”—it’s unplugging from the source of strength and peace.

Even just 10–15 minutes with God in the morning—reading His Word, praying, or sitting quietly in His presence—can change the tone of your whole day. You walk into school, work, or life’s challenges with a calm heart and a focused mind.

Try this: just like your body needs food at lunchtime, your soul needs a mid-day check-in. Take a few moments at lunch or between classes to pause, breathe, and pray. You don’t need a perfect setup. Just a willing heart.

One evangelist made it a point never to go more than three hours without praying. Another man ended every workday by going to his room to thank God and ask for grace for the evening. Small rhythms like these keep you spiritually grounded—and they’re not just for “holy people.” They’re for anyone who wants to stay close to God.

✅ Takeaway Thought:
Consistent time with God isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. Set times to pray, and watch your strength, peace, and focus grow.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help me make space for You each day. I don’t want to run on empty or drift away from You. Teach me to pray in the quiet moments and build my life on time with You. Amen.
