Cultivate Correct Thoughts of God

📖 Scripture:
“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.”
— Psalm 103:13 (NIV)

💡 Today’s Truth:
God isn’t waiting to catch you messing up—He’s walking with you as you learn to follow Him. He sees every step, every try, every fall, and every time you get back up. And He’s proud of you for showing up.

📝 Key Insight:
Sometimes we think God’s always disappointed with us—like we’re not praying enough, not reading our Bible enough, or not being “good” enough. But that’s not the God Jesus came to show us.

God is a loving Father, not a strict judge waiting to punish you. Think about how a good dad helps his little kid take their first steps. The child stumbles, falls, tries again—and the father is there, smiling, helping, cheering. That’s God with you.

But here’s the trap: Satan will try to trick you in two ways. He’ll either make you stop caring about your spiritual life… or make you think God’s angry every time you fall short. Either way, he wants to pull you away from God.

Don’t believe those lies. When you understand God’s heart—kind, patient, forgiving—it becomes easier to trust Him, even when you mess up. Your journey with God isn’t about being perfect. It’s about walking with your Father, step by step.

✅ Takeaway Thought:
God isn’t frustrated with your weakness—He’s faithful in it. Keep walking with Him. He’s proud of your progress.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for being kind, patient, and full of love. Help me see You as You really are—not as a harsh judge, but as my faithful Father. When I fall, remind me to run to You, not from You. I want to grow with You, step by step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
