“Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God.” Isaiah 41:10
Imagine a rock enduring the relentless pounding of waves—steady, resolute. Such is the soul anchored in God. When God resides within a kingdom or city, it stands firm, like Mount Zion, unwavering and solid. Likewise, when God reigns in a soul, no no storm of life can unsettle it. hough troubles may rage like roaring seas, an unshakable peace remains—one that the world can neither give nor take away. But why do so many tremble at every gust of trouble? It is because they have not made room for God within. Instead, they have filled their hearts with the passing worries of life, rendering them as frail as leaves tossed by the breeze.
Reflect
Where does God dwell in your life? Is He at the center, bringing unshakable peace, or have worldly concerns taken His place?
Prayer
Father, remove from my heart anything that weakens my trust in You, and fill me with the peace that the world cannot give or take away. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
