The Eternal Truth of God’s Word

“All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.” — Psalm 119:160 (NIV)

God’s Word is unchanging and His laws are eternal. Unlike human laws, which may shift and evolve over time, God’s righteous judgments stand firm forever. His truth, which was present from the very beginning, remains steadfast and unwavering throughout all generations.

We cannot escape the reality of God’s moral law. It is not something we can evade, destroy, or ignore without consequence. Rather, it is a constant force in our lives—either working as a sleepless enemy when we resist it, or as a boundless, faithful friend when we embrace it.

God’s laws are not burdensome restrictions, but rather divine principles that guide us toward righteousness, peace, and fulfillment. When we align ourselves with His truth, we find stability and joy in a world that is constantly changing. Let us cherish His Word and live in harmony with His enduring commandments, knowing they lead us to eternal life and ultimate freedom.

Am I embracing God’s eternal Word as my faithful guide, or am I resisting its truth and allowing it to confront me as a challenge in my life?

Prayer

Holy Father, I joyfully invite Your law to be the friendly companion of my life. I choose to turn Your statutes into beautiful songs of praise. I embrace them with love and respect, seeing them not as terrors but as treasures. I rely upon Your commandments as gracious allies guiding me in every moment. In fulfilling Your will, I find my true delight and purpose. Thank You for the joy of walking in Your ways. For my Savior’s sake, I declare this. Amen.
