Growing in Grace

Today’s Scripture & Insight:

“GROW in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ”. —2 Peter 3.18.

To stagnate in our spiritual journey is to invite decline. We cannot rely on past achievements or yesterday’s blessings; instead, we must continually seek fresh bread, new wisdom, and deeper understanding. Complacency is a danger zone where growth ceases, and decay begins. Our safety lies in progress in increasing our knowledge and intimacy with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Don’t let yesterday’s victories hold you back! Grow in grace and knowledge, and experience the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Break free from the comfort zone of complacency and strive for spiritual vitality.

The Growth Challenge

Reflect and ask yourself:

In what areas do I need to break free from complacency and seek fresh growth? How can I actively seek to increase my knowledge and intimacy with Jesus Christ? What steps can I take to avoid stagnation and cultivate vibrant spirituality? How can I prioritize spiritual growth in my daily life?

Prayer

Dear Lord, I affirm that I am growing in Your grace and knowledge. Save me from the trap of complacency and the pride of past achievements. Keep my heart and mind awake, active, and progressive, that I may continually experience Your power and wisdom. May I put on strength from day to day, for the sake of my Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Stagnation is the enemy of the soul—keep growing, or start declining.
